Laboratory
We offer a wide array of in-house testing, including blood work, urinalysis, and microscopic evaluation of different samples. We are also affiliated with a commercial laboratory for more extensive diagnostics such as biopsies, fecal testing, and more.
Preventative Care
We take preventative care very seriously. We are glad to discuss your pet’s lifestyle with you so that we can customize his/her preventative care accordingly. This includes vaccinations, heartworm, flea/tick prevention, and more.
Surgery
Pet surgeries are performed by a veterinarian assisted by a veterinary technician. We do a pre-anesthetic physical exam and blood test so we can develop a surgical plan specific to each patient. We take every precaution to ensure anesthesia is administered correctly and we continually monitor your pet’s heart rate, body temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs.
Ultrasound
Countryside Animal Hospital is equipped with ultrasound capacity to help us investigate conditions including urinary issues, gastrointestinal conditions, and more.
Microchipping
This is a simple procedure that can be done without sedation, where we insert a microchip under your pet’s skin. If your pet were to get lost, this device would allow veterinarians, shelters, and other authorities to identify your loved one and contact you. This is not a GPS!
Radiography
We use state of the art digital radiography to help diagnose various conditions that could affect your pet. When needed, radiographs can be reviewed by a board certified radiologist via telemedicine.
Dentistry
Our dental suite allows us to perform a comprehensive dental workup. This includes cleaning, polishing, periodontal exam, dental radiographs, and surgery.
Endoscopy
Endoscopy is a nonsurgical procedure used to examine your pet’s digestive tract. Using a flexible tube with a light and camera attached to it, we can see inside the stomach and parts of the intestines. It has the ability to collect samples for biopsy if required.
