Vivo is a wonderful beagle who came to us for surgery for a torn ligament in his knee. He is cheerful and outgoing, very friendly, and has a great beagle voice which he enjoys using!

The Simplified Discussion
Vaccines
A common question we hear is, "What vaccines does my dog or cat really need?" Another is a variation of, "But she never goes outside, why does she need any vaccines at all?" Sometimes, we hear, "I read on the internet that vaccinations are dangerous, I don't want my dog or cat to get them!"
Consider pet rescue!
Every year millions of animals are euthanized in shelters. While some are strays, many are given up by owners who can no longer take care of them. Some are mutts, some are purebred, some puppies, others adults. The choices are endless. With so many needing help, why not consider adoption for your next pet?
Basil
Meet Basil, our first pet in the spotlight! Basil loves drinking from the tap, particularly the tub faucet, since, as an old guy of 16, he can't jump up on many counters to reach kitchen faucets these days.
During year 3 of the diet Basil has been on since age 7, he ate a dishrag with a small amount of butter on it, necessitating a trip to the vet to ensure his health and safety. Thankfully, everything came out OK.
